To find this location you have to drive over the D789 towards a very tiny village called Le Diry. At the viaduct with roundabout in the D789, turn towards the coast. After 250m turn into the Route de Kerabomnes.
After 1 km you will see at the coastline the silhouette of a special bunker standing. From here you can drive into a small road and park where is place and start walking into the meadow.
This bunker has a special function for the ships and U-boots entering the harbour of Brest. It is called a "Lichtsprechegeräte und Blinkgeräte" , Light speaking and flashing device. This was used to communicate with leaving and or entering German ships and U-boots to the harbour of Brest, without using radio communication that could easily be intercepted by the Allies.
